- Making the skeleton site. Clickboard Terms.
Installing the skeleton. When the skeleton has been made for you.
SEE BOX AT BOTTOM OF PAGE
I have attached a file please download it and install it to C:\ using the 'Unzip' button This is the skeleton website and also has some work pages including the blueprint which I have altered a bit. After unzipping if you start Netscape and go to your 'Control' page you should see a link in col3 to 'Websites' and also a link in the clickboard in col1. Click either. That should take you to a page titled 'Websites' and see a list of sites in col3. The only one that will work for you is the tablefootball one. Try that. Now in col3 you see the Blueprint link take that. Scroll down and you will see the blueprint. I would like you to use that for reference since it is the most up to date one. You can change it if you need to. Take 'Clickboard Terms' link in col3 scroll down and see the main titles I pulled out of the blueprint and have inserted in the site clickboard. Notice that we capitalise the first letters of the words except for 'a' and 'in' and a few other little words. Now go back to the TableFootball page and take the TableFootball.com link in col3. That should take you to the website offline system and you should see the clickboard as appeared before. The first thing you can try doing is to upload the skeleton. Just click Paste+Upload changed files in folder+OK It should upload a lot of files. Now you have to work through the blueprint making all the new pages and doing the LINKTO ones and DUP ones after that. See if you can figure it out from the way we did the PussCats site, see below. Even though the system has changed a bit (e.g. no 'Make new here' anymore) you might be able to figure it. There is some more advice on your blueprint page. After you have had a go just upload again the same way and let me have a look. Please ask questions rather than getting stuck. Thanks.
