You have a lot of specific lateral terms! If you click 'goodyear' you get:- goodyear tires 2107 2009 goodyear 1317 1256 goodyear tire 417 398 charles goodyear 384 366 goodyear blimp 115 . . etc So 'goodyear' includes 'charles goodyear' so you don't need 'charles goodyear' in the specific lateral terms list. Do you see what I mean? Try clicking them and the popularity search comes up, then you can see more of what is going on. All specific lateral terms that include a previous simpler term can be ignored, for example 'bridgestone firestone' can be ignored because it contains 'firestone' which appears in your list too. However 'goodyear.com' does not come up in a popularity search for 'goodyear' so you need to keep it as a specific lateral term. You can figure all this out by clicking each item in the Lateral search results and looking at the Popularity results. After simplifying your list please click on each one (as they appear in the Lateral search) so that the popularity search (with scores) appears in the right hand box. If you don't understand this please ask. You can add suitable results from that to the blueprint. You will have to decide on a threshold score below which you ignore terms. I suggest you use common sense for this - we don't want silly terms. If you don't understand something about the concept of specific lateral terms and the popularity search and what we are trying to achieve with all this please ask. With the lateral terms we are just trying to get some ideas of what terms to use for the popularity searches. > Some you may want to delete. It is the popularity search we are really interested in since that is used for the blueprint. The lateral terms are just a way to get clues as to what terms to use for the popularity searches. 'continental' is a general term and is not going to help us. Poularity search for 'tires' gives:- tires 15330 14619 canadian tire 3774 3599 discount tires 2878 2744 goodyear tires 2107 . . . cheap tires 626 597 tire sizes 620 591 continental tires 613 585 national tire and battery 610 582 kelly tires 608 . . etc and includes 'continental tires' as you can see. So you can remove 'continental' from the specific lateral terms list sdince it is irrelevant and included with the 'tires' term anyway. Do you get the picture of what we are trying to do? You can delete 'regatta' since the pop search gives:- columbus day regatta 187 178 raingutter regatta 162 154 regatta 102 97 goodyear regatta 2 44 42 columbus day regatta photos 39 37 head of the charles regatta 38 36 regatta bar 35 33 goodyear regatta and it is included in 'goodyear' Please have another go to produce the (shorter) specific lateral terms list.
