- Quite a lot of help on Plexel and making websites.
Moving and editing links images etc quickly. Moving blocks, clicked bold links, clicked block and the Click button.
You can use the Plexel Link button and the 'Click' button to move and edit things in the page and even between pages quickly rather than use Edit + col3 etc. Just click the 'Click' button, it goes red then click any link on the page or clickable image and Plexel will pull up the edit window for that part only. It is a quick way of getting right to what you want to edit. SEE BOX AT BOTTOM OF PAGE
BLOCKS AND LINE BREAKS ---------------------- I noticed this in 'Foosball Logos' at the bottom of one of the pictures, . . .

. . etc In Plexel there is the concept of 'blocks'. Subject to the exceptions below, a block is defined as some text/html with a blank line above and below The blank lines are used to mark the block. Pictures are assumed to be blocks so in the listing above:- should have a blank line below it. Other HTML has been added manually directly below it. This means that the added HTML will be treated as part of the picture block. So the clicked block features of the Link form will not work properly. Neither will 'Click'. Please remember to leave blank lines between separate structures. Thanks. Exceptions: 1. At the top of a column a block does not need a blank line above. 2. At the bottom of a column a block does not need a blank line below. BLOCKS (MORE) ------------- In col3 of Harvard Foosball Table you have:-

Links
Harvard Foosball Table - Buy your Harvard Foosball Table here.

Best to insert a blank line below 'Links'

Links
Harvard Foosball Table - Buy your Harvard Foosball Table here.

This is because the Plexel 'Clicked Block' and 'Clicked Bold Link' features of the Link menu define a 'block' to be any HTML with a blank line above and below it. So with the way you had it, if you wanted for example to move the tablesoccersource.com link Plexel would move the 'Links' heading too because it would treat it as part of the tablesoccersource.com block. MOVING BLOCKS AROUND -------------------- There are various other 'Clicked Block' features like 'Copy' and 'Paste'. A block is any block of text in the edit window that has a blank line above and below and a hypertext link in it. When you put the images in you will see that they are also blocks and can be moved too. The 'Click' button in Plexel also works on blocks and is a quick way to edit a specific block in a page. Just click the 'Click' button, it goes red, then click on a link in say col3 and the edit wondow comes up with just the specific bit of HTML you want and that you can now change and 'Save'. It doesn't always work though but tells you when. You can mix in images and text as you like. It is even possible to wrap text around images. I am quite prepared to get into this if you like. It looks more professional but at present we just put text above and below images. I think some pages are need more info than others and you can soon tell by looking at other pages in google on the same topic. I leave it up to you, the 350 is just a guideline. There is certainly no harm in having more except it takes more time and I am inclined to think that rather than spend too much time on any one page we might be better to be getting more pages up. So if you really can't find anything on a title then it is probably best to forget it and move on even deleting the page if you really can't find anything on it. We don't really want blank pages up. MOVING THINGS ------------- Using the 'Clicked Block' features in the Link menu you can move things about quite easily without doing Edit + col3 etc. A link qualifies as a block. A block is any single or multi-line bit of html with blank lines above and below and a <A HREF=..... link in it. So a picture is also a block and you can move them around too (or even delete them) easily. A text paragraph unfortunately is not a block unless there is also a <A HREF=... link in it. Move Above/Move Below work a bit differently since they require two mouse clicks after activation, i.e. after 'Click' in the Plexel menubar goes red. The other options are single click. To move one block (or link) above another do this:- 1. Link + Clicked Block + Move Above (note that 'Click' goes red in the Plexel menubar) 2. Click a link in the destination block 3. Click a link in the block to be moved Similarly for moving below. UPDATING THE BLUEPRINT AND MOVING LINKS ACCORDINGLY --------------------------------------------------- > 'Outdoor Foosball' will basically contain > what would be in 'Outdoor Soccer Table' As you advise 'Outdoor Soccer Table' is a duplicate of 'Outdoor Foosball'. Looking at the blueprint I see Outdoor Foosball 10 Outdoor Soccer Table 4 LINKTO Outdoor Soccer Table 4 Spartan Sports Outdoor 54 Soccer Table 8 Le Corner Outdoor Foosball Table 6 Outdoor Foosball Murrey 5 Outdoor Foosball 10 LINKTO so 'Outdoor Foosball' has the higher score and therefore 'Outdoor Soccer Table' is a DUP of it and will have to be deleted. But you can't delete it just yet since it has 3 sub-topics which need moving to 'Outdoor Foosball' first. Lets work through this. So the updated blueprint will become:- Outdoor Foosball 10 Spartan Sports Outdoor 54 Soccer Table 8 Le Corner Outdoor Foosball Table 6 Outdoor Foosball Murrey 5 Outdoor Soccer Table 4 DUP OK so that's the blueprint updated but what about the site? PROBLEM: MOVING LINKS --------------------- There is a bit of moving about to do. Luckily Plexel can handle it but you will have to be a bit careful here. You have to move the following 3 sub-topic links:- Spartan Sports Outdoor 54 Soccer Table Le Corner Outdoor Foosball Table Outdoor Foosball Murrey from 'Outdoor Soccer Table' page to 'Outdoor Foosball'. First you have to get the location of the 'Outdoor Foosball' page into the clipboard so Plexel will know where you are moving things to. There are several ways to do that but conveniently you can just use the clickboard link. Right click in the clickboard where it says 'Outdoor Foosball' and 'Copy Link Location'. That's one bit done. Now go to the 'Outdoor Soccer Table' page. First click 'Link + Clipboard url' then click on the 'Spartan Sports Outdoor 54 Soccer Table' link in col3. You should see it disappear. It has gone to 'Outdoor Foosball'. That completes the first one. Now repeat that process for the next two links:- Le Corner Outdoor Foosball Table Outdoor Foosball Murrey Now there should only be 'Outdoor Foosball' showing in col3 of 'Outdoor Soccer Table' page. If so, you can now delete the page 'Outdoor Soccer Table' using Edit + Delete Display. Finished. Please upload so I can check it for you. You better let me have a copy of the updated blueprint for checking too since things are getting a bit involved.
